-My back is still jacked up really bad, so I was very happy to be able to still hit at least 700 straps down. I should not have lifted but I am 5 weeks out from seniors and couldnt afford to miss a dead day. I am very lucky I didnt hurt my back more.

I was in the area so I was very privelaged to get to train with jeff adkins and p town barbell. Sat is an off day for them but they all came in just to help me get my squats in, such great people at p town my future home.

epic sunday bench! I had the p town crew and then scott nutter and pete burg drove down from elite barbell to help out our last heavy bench day. Nutter saved my bench day by bringing me a tighter super duper phenom. I went from hoping to bench 600 at seniors to 650 now! 2500 is a huge possibility.

The 2011 APF Senior Nationals is over and in the books. It went better than I could have ever expected. As a rookie I walked away with the heaviest squat and heaviest deadlift. I lost the entire meet by 22lbs to Anthony Carlquist. He really brought his A game on sunday. It was a back and forth competition all day long and it came down to the deadlift. I needed to hit an 836 dead to win it all and i just didnt have it in me on this day. AC truely dug deep and deserved this victory.

I weighed in at 272, I went 8 for 9 missing only my last dead lift
