"Mendy bomb again. He may have had a chance if they would of let him press the weight off a 4 brd. The guy cock strong but he has to be one of the worst technicians in the game. Once again he proved that leaving his back yard isn't good for his benching. Gym lifts mean nothing"

Great interview...really puts things into perspective how you're able to maintain such consistent strength/performance even while dropping to a lower weight class. I guess that's what separates the best from the rest...the best are strong no matter where they go.
Do you feel like the weight loss messed with your leverages at all? Seems like it would create all sorts of problems that way and with how the gear fits, but you're still able to push the same weights as before. Is it because you're actually gaining strength even with less leverage, or what do you think it can be attributed to? Jw since the prevailing attitude towards losing weight is that it will make you weaker, but you're proof that that's not necessarily the case.

The main key with weight loss and training in equipment is to drop the weight at a slow pace and have your equipment adjusted as needed. If you wear looser equipment you will not get as much support out of it.

Had to train alone do to getting held over at work so I forced myself to delaod with some lighter weights. My body is a little beat up so probably a good thing. Going to try to get into ART Dr tommorow and friday so I am as close to 100% as possible by Sat
