Back from the Arnold. I have no excuses for my lacck of performance. Warm ups were all fast and easy. Hoss can contest to that as he assisted in handling me. Opened with 935 wich should have been a joke the way my training has been. I brought it down a little low and was about to dump it when I toughed and got the press comand. it was light enough that I was able to rocket it up but had to much speed and end up losing it over my head. 2nd and 3rd attemps were with 955 another weight that should have been a joke for me the way training has been. Just didn't have the gass to finish either lift. I have bombed the 3 of the last 4 meets I have done. Not happy about it but shit happens. I am going back to the gym tomorow and will be picking a meet real fast to redeem myself.
Speacial thanks to Hoss for taking his time to handle me.
The Arnold was fun the and the MHP booth was rockin all weekend long.

Hung out at the IL APF State Meet yesterday with Eddy Coan. Didn't really train yesterday so I did some cardio and abbs today to make Hoss proud. I have really been struggling lately to stay motivated so I have decided that I am going to quit messing around and start my plan in effect to get back down to 242. I will be working with Keifer from Dangerously Hardcore to get this done. Not going to crash its going to take time to lose the weight at a slow and steady pace so my strength levels aren't affected to much. I have done this in the past and continued to get stronger. With Rudy Rosalles tending to my needs it won't be an issue to get my equipment adjusted as needed as my body changes. I am really frustrated with Powerlifting right now so I am hoping this is the challenge I need to get my fire back and to get my competitive edge back on track. I may jump into a meet here and there while making the cut just for fun. Might even do a raw meet or even a push pull.

i think that this is a fantastic idea and it makes all the sence in the world. All your best lifts were done at a lighter bodyweight. It will be awesome to follow your log as you put this plan into action.

Leg Curls - 60x12x5
Leg Extentions - 75x12 100x12 125x12 150x12 175x10 100x15
Leg Press - 450x12 540x12 630x12 675x12
Hack Squat - 135x8 185x8 225x8x2
Standing calf - 200x25x2 200x20
Abb work - 5 sets
Trained alone today so decided to keep the weights light and try to increase my volume a little bit. My leg training hasn't been real consistant so here is a start to something new. Part of me is excited about this new chalenge and part of me is pissed off that I didn't take the 275 record back. No doubt in my mind my strength levels have been plenty strong for the past year to take the record back. I seem to lack the fire when I get to meets. Can't explain why so with this new challenge I am hoping new fire will ignite. Probably doesn't help that the majority of the meets i have went to this past year I haven't had anyone to push me in my weight class. Jake Prazack is a stud at 242 so I will plan on meeting up with him when I am ready and going head to head with someone that can push me in a meet setting.
