Squat day, need volume been doing just one heavy set every week. Its not the right way to get stronger. i am going bakc to my trusty program that has always produced results. 3wks bands, 3wks bands and chains, 3 weeks chains, opener for 2, meet.
week 2 of bands
Squats Blue Bands 410x2 500x2x7sets 645x2
Some speed pulls Abs

Did an extra session consisting of Reverse Hypers, abs and bike ride monday
Tuesday Bench!
Bench 135x10 315x10 shirt 555x1 off 3bd 635x1 off 3bd 705x1 off 2bd 755x1 off 2bd 800x1 off 2bd 840x1 off 2bd (BS lockout)
Done, lil dusted. I will be doing arm work Wednesday in extra session. BIG pr board work!

Thursdays Deadlifts, were not that intense. I wanted to peel it back a bit and do some raw triples.
deads 135x3 225x3 315x3 425x3 455x3 515x3 565x3 605x3
abs x 4 sets done
Squats Saturday, top of the wave with blue bands 135x2 255x2 365x2x2 425x2 515x2x2 645x2x3 775x2 no box on this one

Tuesday benching:
225x10 315x10 shirt 475x2 off 3bd 555x1 off 3bd 605x1 off 3bd then dumbass jump too 785x1 off2bd 785x1 off 1bd (previous 1bd PR was 755)
Floors press with 165lbs plus about 200lbs in chains 4 sets of 8 reps
Best bench day ever
Thursday's Dead day: Chain suspended GM's (42") 255x1 495x1 585x1 665x1 790x1 900x1
Rack pulls against bands 135x1 225x1 315x1 405x1 495x1
Had to get outta the gym to pick up son from Soccer.
Felt beastly strong today!

thanks for the squat props big hoss. I have always wanted to squat like chuck v, I am far from that but still trying. that and I am tall, gotta reduce the range of motion.

I have been a schmuck and not updated this log in a while! I did however miss bench and dead sessions the first week of June. I then lifted in the Norcal USPA meet. I did a token squat of 804, Benched 110lbs (yes 110lbs) and pulled 804lbs. The idea was to not bomb but get 2 bench attempts (maybe 3 if I wanted a record) to practice like training. Also to pull in the suit in a meet. I accomplished all I wanted too as I got some work in and pulled 800plus. I learned my shirt isn’t right and I need to go back to old faithful. Not gonna bench 800 plus in it but I can get 750 plus safely in a 3lift meet.
I then traveled to Florida last week and missed all training until Saturday when I benched. Wasn’t a big deal cuz I did max in the meet.
Benched july 12th Bench raw 135x20 225x20 315x10 315x1 with green bands 315x1 with green, monster mini bands 315x1 with green, monster mini bands & reg minis also 315x1 with green, monster mini bands & reg minis also & 50lbs chains 315x1 with green, monster mini bands & reg minis also & 90lbs chains 315x1 with green, monster mini bands & reg minis also & 120lbs chains 315x1 with green, monster mini bands & reg minis also & 160lbs chains
Floor Press 225x15x3sets
& Jack & Jonah squats and bench
Sunday Squats Worked up too 920 x1, deep and easy Did 12 sets of abs Squatted some more raw 500 plus for some reps 3 or 4 sets do not remember
Monday Extra session Reverse Hyper 5 sets Abs 12 sets & Had Jonah train dead and bench

Day 1 squats LOTS of spotting and loading! Took to long so only got to squat Basically 8sets of 2 reps with Bluebands no box with 505lbs!

Bench in single ply Katana. I am wearing a size 58 and taking on the arms as I touch weekly. In other words I touched as low as 455 last week, so took sleeves in ¾” for this session. I know the wt isn’t heavy but I am working on touching every week. I am also taken the wt up every week.
Bench 135x5 225x10 315x5 Shirt 405x2 reps no touch 455x2 no touch 525x2 touched 555x2 touched 575x2 touched 605x2 touched

8-7-2011
Started to get warmed up to squat and then I was called by my sons coach for soccer. He had a game at 10am. I had to leave. rrrrrRRRR came back and squatted alone at 2pm.

Need to get shirt adjusted.
